Jens Marquardt is a research associate at the Institute of Political Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany. He has previously worked on non-state climate action at the Department of Political Science at Stockholm University after conducting research on the relation between climate science and politics at Harvard University’s Program on Science, Technology and Society. His research interests include environmental governance, power relations, and issue of contestation around climate change politics. Jens is the author of the book How Power Shapes Energy Transitions in Southeast Asia (Routledge) and is currently committed to a joint research project on how to institutionalize climate change mitigation in the Global South.
